CEO Eric Hirshberg stated "I do not have anything official to announce, but I can speak as an individual, I love Crash Bandicoot . Those were some of my favorite video games growing up. And I would love to find a way to bring him back if we could. "In 2012, co-creator of the series Andy Gavin said he would like to see a high definition version of the first four games. The same year, co-creator Jason Rubin said he was hopeful that Activision would "bring Crash back to their glory days and that the character is still very dear to fans between 18-49 years." In 2013, a new design of Crash Bandicoot was spotted in a photo from the Vicarious Visions ' s studio, raising rumors that a new game might be in development, though this was later confirmed to be concept art from a previous canceled Crash Bandicoot game.
In June 2013, Andy Gavin suggested ways to revitalize the series. " Crash needs a total reboot. There's an opportunity to reset the history, and go back to his creation story and the original conflict with Cortex. In that context, you could reprise classic Crash 1 and 2's settings and villains. It would make sense to use a more modern, free-roaming style. I would concentrate on Looney Tunes -esque animation and really addictive action. That's what we did with the original Crash , and there's no reason it could not be done today. Given the current Crash games, people forget that he was once cool. Our whimsical Crash had a certain edge to him. Sure, it was goofy - but it was not dumb. "
In November 2013, rumors began circulating that Sony Computer Entertainment bought the rights to the franchise from Activision. Fueled speculations after the release of a social media campaign, featuring a road sign of a bandicoot, with an arrow pointing towards the orange diamond logo of Sony Computer Entertainment. However, an Activision representative told Game Informer that "[Activision still owns] Crash Bandicoot and we continue to explore ways in which we could bring to life the beloved series".
In July 2014, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House revealed that reviving the Crash Bandicoot series was something that they have been thinking about, saying "It's never off the table", and Naughty Dog also revealed through an IGN interview the possibility that they may revive both series of Crash Bandicoot as well as Jak & Daxter . In January 2015, however, Naughty Dog's Josh Scherr stated in an interview with Game Informer that Naughty Dog does not miss working on either series and has no intention of bringing them back to life. Despite this, Naughty Dog co-president Evan Wells stated that the company would love to return to Crash Bandicoot , but did not see it as viable at the time.

Destiny 2
As in the original game, players will be able to improve their characters, referred to as Guardians, by gaining experience points (EXP) - when a set number of experience points are accumulated, the player's character will "level up" and gain improved statistics which further enhance performance in battle. Quests , including the "main scenario" quest line, specific tasks are given to the player by non-player characters (NPCs) which reward items and EXP. Completing main scenario quests progresses the overarching plot of the game. Destiny 2 will feature the same three character classes of the original Destiny ; no new classes will be added. Each class has their own specific upgrades, perks, special abilities, and two sub-classes that allow players to finely tune their individual characters to provide a different play style. After choosing a class, players select one of three species for their character: Human, Awoken (bluish-gray-skinned descendants of Humans), or Ex (humanoid machines). They can then customize their characters, such as changing its skin color or gender. A character's species is only cosmetic and does not affect gameplay. Players can create two more characters to have a character of each class.
  • Hunters will continue to have access to the Solar-based "Gunslinger" sub-class of the original, along with its "Golden Gun" super, with some subtle changes. The Hunter's new sub-class for Destiny 2 is the arc-based "Arcstrider", replacing the "Bladedancer" sub-class of the original. Arcstrider will have a super that focuses on an electrified staff and a large amount of rapid mobility.
  • Warlocks will have a new Solar-based sub-class called "Dawnblade" with a super called "Daybreak", replacing the "Sunsinger" sub-class of the original. The super Daybreak allows the player to make Solar Light blades to strike enemies from mid-air, similar to the Titan's "Sunbreaker" sub-class of the original with its "Hammer of Sol" super.
  • Titans will continue to have access to the Arc-based "Striker" sub-class and its "Fists of Havoc" super of the original, with some noticeable changes gameplay. The Titan's new sub-class for Destiny 2 is the Void-based "Sentinel", replacing the "Defender" sub-class of the original. Sentinel's super will allow the player to summon a shield that can block enemy fire and be used offensively, similar to Captain America's shield .
Weapons and armor will be reorganized in Destiny 2 . In the original game, weapons were divided as Primary, Special and Heavy weapons. In Destiny 2 , the weapons will be categorized as Kinetic, Energy, Power and weapons. Classified as Primary weapons and some special weapons in the original - such as hand guns and sidearms - will be classified as Kinetic Energy and weapons. Those without an elemental damage type Kinetic weapons go in the slot while those with an elemental damage type (arc, Solar, or Void) go in the Energy weapons slot. Power Heavy weapons include the weapons and special weapons from the first game, such as shotguns, as well as new weapon types, such as the grenade launcher. With armor, the name of the stats have been changed. Instead of Strength, Intellect, and Discipline, there will be stats for Armor, Recovery, and Agility.
