'World War Z' 2

Brad Pitt's 'World War Z' Sequel Pulled from Release Schedule

Brad Pitt‘s upcoming movie World War Z 2 was set to hit theaters in just a matter of months, but now it has been pulled from Paramount Pictures’ release schedule. The movie was originally scheduled to open on June 9, 2017, but the film lost director J.A. Bayona last year and now the studio is hoping to have the project ready by 2018 or 2019, according to THR. Another movie that Paramount has removed from its calendar is Friday the 13th, another addition to the horror franchise scheduled to be released on October 13. The studio has decided to put Jennifer Lawrence‘s upcoming movie Mother, directed by her current boyfriend Darren Aronofsky, on that date instead.
